Definitely recommend the Pad Thai and the Tamarind Curry.Food was delicious. Were from Toronto and used to great authentic Thai food. We did not expect the restaurant to be that good. The service was not the greatest as the staff seemed sort of annoyed (mabye just tired after a long day) but, we didn't care because the food was great.

Called to order for pick up and the person who answered was so rude I cancelled my order.

Excellent Thai food. Service can be slow, but the food is worth the wait. Have frequented the restaurant for at least 3 years, never disappointed.

Excellent cost place, very good food, way better than any common Thai you are familiar with. May be busy at times but food is served fresh, hot and fast. Highly recommended!

Emerald curry and the coconut rice was absolutely yummy.

Terrible food ..pad Thai was disaster as if it was heated in microwave and it has a weird smell. Not sure how it got 4 rating

Good food, excellent service in an small location that could use a refresh. We enjoyed the fresh and crispy rolls, the coconut soup, pad Thai and the basil beef with coconut rice. A little on the pricier side but still worth it.

Exceptional Tom Yum and Emerald Chicken Curry.Was very surprised at how good the food was, they have improved a lot from a few years ago.

Worst customer service. Old man at the register was rude and not friendly. Manager rude and not friendly. We arrived at the restaurant at 830pm. It closes at 10pm. They would not let us sit inside. There were many available tables. They first said that the tables were reserved. Then at 9pm we asked if we could sit inside since the reservation didn't show up and they said it's take out only because they had to clean up. So we sat on the curb of the parking lot to eat. There was also a family of 5 with 3 young children sitting on the curb as well.

Food was very fresh and very tasty

If you like terrible customer service please see the old man at the cashier or the manager at the back, they seemed oddly unhappy when 11 customers came in to order food. There were plenty of open tables but we were lied to and told they were being held, we sat on the curb outside and ate our food till closing and no one made it to these 'reservations'. Pros: decent eats and we got to practice our balancing skills while eating the hot food outside in the slight rain. We also met a nice family with two kids that had to do the same across the parking lot from us.

This Thai restaurant is a gem amongst a choice of other asian restaurants.The food quality is authentic along with very good service at a very fair value. Dine-in or take-out, it's your choice but why not enjoy the host's (Katmani) hospitality and her Thai themed cozy dining room. The menue choice is generous as are the portions. Located in Wasaga Beach across the street from Castle Hardware. Wasaga is fortunate to have this authentic Thai restaurant.

Food is good. I ordered noodles, shrimp started and a chicken padthai. They taste really good. People are very friendly and the price is a but expensive. The restaurant is awarded best one by trip advisor for 2 consecutive years. Washroom is the best and cleanest.:)

Food was tasteless. Ordered sweet and sour soup which came half way through the meal. The writer picked it up with the bowl full and didn't even bother to ask why I didn't eat it. Sign says authentic Thai - good taste nothing like Thai

The friendliness of the place was only topped by the quality of the food.We had mango salad and papaya salad - so fresh and authentic.The cooked meals equally good then we finished off with the fried banana and wow.I do not usually rate and review but after lunch at Katmanis Thai, I felt compelled to let the world know.Thanks for a great experience.

Great tasting food, worth a try

My family of four shared an amazing meal at this restaurant. The waiter was kind and knowledgeable, and helped us choose some great dishes. The Emerald Chicken curry with coconut rice was beyond any other curry I have ever eaten. The pad thai and pad see ew were flavorful and plentiful. The mango salad was fresh and bright and full of flavor. And of course the spring rolls were excellent. This place has set the bar for Thai food.

Had takeout and was very happy with the service. You get a lot of food for the price. I find it very reasonable. The food was delicious ordered several dishes and they were fabulous. Great food.

Love the yellow curry and chow mein! The spring rolls are delicious as well. Lunch special is a fantastic deal although hot and sour soup is not my first choice. Have been many times and the food doesnt disappoinment! Will keep coming back.

If you want authentic Thai food, this is the spot. If you want anything else... re-think your life and get good Thai food at Katmanis haha.

The food is amazing. I lived in Thailand for about a year, and this is amongst the top 5 Thai restaurants I have eaten at in Canada - and I have just relocated from Vancouver where authentic, fresh, delicious Asian food is plentiful. Yes, elderly people run it, yes the service is occasionally slow (when it’s one senior woman doing everything but running the till), but I think they are doing a great job (all things considered), & the food is incredible. I have eaten here at least 20x - without complaint. I think it’s the best restaurant in Wasaga!

This restaurant used to have good a Thai food but the food has less flavour. It is the only Thai restaurant in Wasaga Beach.

Every time I'm in town I enjoy this place. The staff is awesome and i truly appreciate the wonderful food which is fresh and the staff is super friendly

The food was great. The food service was fast. But you call the waiter over for such things as water or call them over when you are ready to order. But when the waiter did come over, he was always polite and very happy to serve us. Also, no one really acknowledged us when we arrived. We ended up searting ourselves. In short, you have to ask for service and the food is great.

We arrived at the restaurant around 8pm and the man at the counter wouldn't seat us because the tables were apparently reserved. He said they'll have a table open in an hour. We decided to do take-out instead. The man at the counter didn't know much about the food; no recommendations, didn't know the portion sizes, and wasn't pleasant at the least. In the time we got our food, we didn't see anyone come in for those "reserved" tables. The restaurant was fairly empty and the tables were not cleared of the food from previous customers. Again, we asked the gentlemen if we can be seated with our take-out food. However, this time the gentleman said they only do take-out at this hour....... We ended up having to eat outside on the curb while the restaurant was empty with only 1 or 2 customers. Even worse, a family with 2 young kids showed up, again unable to be seated because the staff was unwilling to clear the tables. They, like us, had to eat outside on the curb.

We had the green curry which was amazing. The spring rolls were your typical spring rolls nothing special. The pad thai was super good. The service was polite and the food arrived very very quickly! Would definately go again.

We had a family meal here with two teens and a child who were not crazy about going to a Thai restaurant, and they LOVED it. All of the selections were top notch, with fresh ingredients. We also enjoyed the owners and staff.

I've eaten at many Thai restaurants, but this is one of the best. Surprising considering it's outside of the GTA! I can't celebrate the chef enough; her dishes are works of art. The prices are affordable too. I must mention that there is a bit of a wait after you've ordered, but it's clear that such sumptuous meals take some time. Trust me, it's worth it. To top it all off, the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about their menu. It may not be an interior decorator's dream once inside, but it's quaint, unassuming decor allows the cooking to speak for itself.Recommend: yellow chicken curry and Thai chicken curry. Fried spring rolls are great with the sweet and sour sauce (perfect consistency too).

Best Thai food I ever tried. I recommend the spicy noodles and the spring rolls. Definitely worth trying. Service was excellent.

Coconut rice, fish gravy and vegetable gravy is good. And we ordered for emerald chicken which had a lot of vegetables which is a good one. I don't find difference between chicken soup and chicken gravy much. Both taste similar. Try for Fish gravy and coconut rice both had a authentic coconut flavor. Mango salad is also good.

The food at this restaurant was delicious. Generous servings and good service.
